Hospitality & Usher's Ministry

The hospitality ministry is equipped by the gifts of the Holy Spirit. These gifts make that ministry effective and enable to build up the Body of Christ. In their welcome and Christ-like attitude, hospitality ministry ensures that the faithful see and experience the love of Christ.

The ministry of hospitality is crucial because it is so visible in the Church. Certainly the attitude, conduct and even the appearance of those that work in the ministry of hospitality.  It directly affects, either positively or negatively, the experience of the congregation.

Being conscious of this vital ministry and its significance for the congregation.   Our ministry consists of greeters to help create a sense of welcome and hospitality. We also have broadened the role of usher to include all the services of hospitality.

The hospitality ministry  is a group of servant leaders who offer quality service to all members, visitors, and friends of Zion.  They serve with a willing heart and a winning smile.

Our Ministries duties:

• Greet worshipers, making every attempt to help them feel welcome
• Assisting worshipers with seating
• Being available for questions from guests
• Handing out church bulletins/newsletter
• Directing traffic flow for the offering
• Maintain an alertness/readiness for emergencies
