Inspired Moments

God's delays are not denials;

He has heard your prayers;

He knows all about your trials,

Knows your every care.

God's delays are not denials,

Help is on the way;

He is watching over life's deals,

Bringing forth the day.

God's delays are not denials,

You will find Him true;

Working through life's darkest trials,

What is best for you.

Too often we don't realize
what we have until it is gone.
Too often we wait too late to say
"I'm sorry - I was wrong."

Sometimes it seems we hurt the ones
we hold dearest to our hearts
and we allow foolish things
to tear our lives apart.

Far too many times we let
unimportant things into our minds
and then it's usually too late
to see what made us blind.

So be sure that you let people know
how much they mean to you.
Take that time to say the words
before your time is through.

Be sure that you appreciate
everything you've got
and be thankful for the little things
in life that mean a lot.

When I say ... I am a Christian
I'm not shouting "I am saved."
I'm whispering "I get lost"
that is why I’m on this way.

When I say ... I am a Christian
I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble
and need Someone to be my guide.

When I say ... I am a Christian
I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I am weak
and pray for strength to carry on.

When I say ... I am a Christian
I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed
and cannot ever pay the debt.

When I say ... I am a Christian
I'm not claiming to be perfect.
My flaws are too visible
but God believes I'm worth it.

When I say ... I am a Christian
I still feel the sting of pain.
I have my share of heartaches
which is why I seek HIS name.

When I say ... I am a Christian
I do not wish to judge.
I have no authority
I only know I'm loved.

There are 5 sponges lying on your kitchen counter top. Each member of your family has been cleaning up different areas of your home, but all the sponges look the same. You are curious as to what was cleaned in your home, but you can't tell by looking...they all look the same....so what do you do?

You squeeze each sponge to see what comes out. As you squeeze the first sponge, you see that cola comes out, and so you decide that someone cleaned the kitchen with that one. Upon squeezing the second sponge, you find tub and tile cleaner - that one was used to clean the bathroom.

Next, in the third sponge, you find motor oil — hubby was cleaning the garage!  In the fourth sponge, baby powder puffs out when it is squeezed — yep, the baby's nursery was done with that one!

And finally, in the last one is floor wax — that was the one you used on the hall floor!  As you lay the last one down, you look again at their similarity – and they all look the same until they're squeezed.

Christians are the same way. As life squeezes us, different things come out — anger from one, a need for revenge from another, tears from one, remorse from yet another — also greed, untruth, lust — and finally, from one saint, pours forth the love of Christ.

Just like the sponge, we can only squeeze out what is put in — stay in the Word daily, and be in continuous prayer, so that when life puts the squeeze on you (and it WILL), Jesus, and Jesus ALONE will shine forth from you!

Have a blessed, squeaky-clean day!

Jesus said, It's time my child, for you to pick a Mother
So I looked down on earth from one to the other

That's the one, Jesus, that woman there
The one with the smile none other can compare

I know I will love her I'm excited that she'll be mine
I know she will comfort me all of the time

When will it be time for us to meet
Not too much longer, I promise, he said
She'll hold you, kiss you and rock you to sleep
I know we will make each other complete

I see all her beauty how can I compare
You'll be just like her, Jesus said
Same smile, same face, same color of hair

I feel it in my heart
I'll make her special, he said
I'll make her like no other
She'll be a wonderful Mother

One more thing Jesus, before you go
How will I find her, how will I know
Will she know me, Jesus
Will she know that I'm hers

And Jesus said.........

You will be wrapped in
"Lavender and Lace"
You will know her
By "God's Amazing Grace"

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!!
