A Word From The Bishop

Scriptures are from the King James Version of the Bible

The Word for this week is from Proverbs 11:1-6 which reads, “A FALSE balance is abomination to the Lord: but a just weight is his delight.  When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.  The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.  Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.  The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.  The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: but transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness.”

Glory Hallelujah, thank God for his Word!!

The Word for this week is from  Hebrews 4:12-13 which reads, For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedge sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.  Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.”

Glory Hallelujah, thank God for his Word!!

The Word for this week is from  Luke 6:39-42 which reads, “Can the blind lead the blind? Shall they not both fall into the ditch?  The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.  And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but perceives not the beam that is in thine own eye?  Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in tine own eye?  Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother’s eye.

Glory Hallelujah, thank God for his Word!!

The Word for this week is from  Luke 6:43-45 which reads, “For a good tree is known by his own fruit.  For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.  A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

Glory Hallelujah, thank God for his Word!!

The Word for this week is from  II Corinthians 8:7-9 which reads, “Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in our love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also.  I speak not by commandment, but by occasion of the forwardness of others, and to prove the sincerity of your love.  For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

Glory Hallelujah, thank God for his Word!!

Wishing you all a Blessed and Prosperous New Year!

Until Next Week…
