The hazardous effect that a given compound of chemical has on the environment (soil, water, air) observed during environmental tests on the effects of the substance on aquatic and plant life.

Burdock Root and Red Clover- Internal Purposes: Burdock root and Red Clover are blood purifiers that clear the bloodstream and lymphatic glands of toxins.


Milk thistle– Internal Purposes: It is believed that Milk Thistle protects the cells of the liver by blocking the entrance of harmful toxins and removing these toxins from the liver cells. It is also thought that Milk Thistle regenerates injured liver cells.


Turmeric (Curcumin)- Internal Purposes: Turmeric is also known by the name of curcumin. Curcumin has been found to have antioxidant properties. Assist the liver to remove toxins from the body and is believed to halt tumor growth.

A condition in which the endometrium grows outside the uterus, causing scarring, pain, and heavy bleeding, and often damaging the fallopian tubes and ovaries in the process. Endometriosis is a common organic cause of infertility

Alfalfa- Internal Purposes: Usually women that have Endometriosis are iron deficient and Alfalfa is a good source of iron. Alfalfa has a high vitamin K and needed mineral content that is necessary for blood clotting and healing

Astragalus, Garlic, Goldenseal, Myrrh Gum, Pau d'arco, and Red Clover- Internal Purposes: These six herbs are said to have natural antibiotic properties that reduce infections. Also known to have anti-tumor properties.

Burdock Root, Dong Quai, and Red Raspberry Leaf- Internal Purposes: These three herbs are said to have hormonal balancing properties.

Stinging nettle- Internal Purposes: Nettle is beneficial in treating endometriosis due to its rich content of iron.

Xerosis is the term for dry skin. We all have a natural oil coating over our skin produced by the skin oil glands. If this oil is removed, then the skin becomes dry which can lead to cracking, which can lead to inflammation

Aloe vera- External Purposes: Aloe Vera Gel applied topically is one of nature's best soothing agents and has great healing qualities for your skin. Aloe Vera softens and moisturizes the skin.  Dosage: Follow directions on the label when using topically

Calendula and Comfrey- External Purposes: Comfrey is frequently combined with calendula, in salves and ointments that are used for facials, or to make herbal or floral baths. Calendula is particularly suited for dry, sensitive and irritated skin as it has soothing and healing properties. Comfrey speeds healing of wounds and skin conditions. The Allantoin in Comfrey promote cell regeneration and helps to relieve inflammation. Allantoin also has skin-soothing properties. Cautions: Comfrey is to be used externally only.

Chamomile, Lavender, and peppermint- External Purposes: These three herbs combined will make an excellent moisturizing facial sauna. Following is the recipe: Use a glass or enameled pot, simmer a total of 2 to 4 teaspoons of dried or fresh herbs in 2 quarts of water. When pot is steaming, place it on a potholder or table. Place a towel over your head and sit with your face a comfortable distance over the steam for fifteen minutes. Next, splash cold water in your face and allow your skin to air or pat dry with a towel. Apply a natural moisturizer or facial oil, or clay mask. After the sauna, allow the herbal water to cool and it can be saved to use as a toning lotion that can be patted on your face with a cotton ball after cleansing.

EMPHYSEMA -  A condition of the lungs, in which the small air sacs of the lungs, know as alveoli expand and dilate secondary to numerous causes. As the alveoli expand the ability to add oxygen and remove CO 2 to and from the blood is compromised. Emphysema can be caused by cigarette smoking, inhalation of toxic fumes and some congenital diseases.

Thyme- Internal Purposes: Thyme is an excellent expectorant that has been used since ancient times to treat upper respiratory and lung disorders. Children with lung disorders can be given thyme.

Licorice- Internal Purposes: Glycyrrhizin is one of the active ingredients in licorice, and it has been found to possess anti-inflammatory, anti-allergenic properties. Research has shown that the Licorice Root has an effect on the organ system, the endocrine system and liver and increases energy levels. Best to use a alcohol-free extract or Bio Rizin from American Biologics.  Cautions: Licorice is not to be used if you have high blood pressure. Not to be used on a daily basis for more than seven days at a time.
Alfalfa, Fenugreek, Fresh Horseradish, Mullein Tea, and Rosemary- Internal Purposes: Alfalfa, Fresh Horseradish, and Rosemary have been helpful in treating emphysema. Mullein tea loosens congestion and mucus. Fenugreek has been commonly used to treat bronchitis and breaks ups the mucus flow.

Those who wear contacts or take certain medications may be more susceptible to dry eyes. Women who are past menopause are also more likely to suffer from dryness. When tear ducts fail to provide enough tears, dry eyes will result.
