Listed are some helpful herbs and supplements for this condition.  However, you must take care of your overall health through a physician.

 

Is an allergic condition affecting the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract and the eyes. It is most often characterized by nasal discharge, sneezing and itchy, watery eyes. Hayfever is generally caused by an abnormal sensitivity to airborne pollen.

Alfalfa- Internal Purposes: Using a liquid form of alfalfa provides chlorophyll and vitamin K which is beneficial in fighting hay fever symptoms.  Dosage: 1 tablespoon in juice or water twice daily.

Cucumbers- Internal Purposes: It is well known that placing slices of cucumbers over the eyes is great for relieving redness and itching. Can alternate this with steeped, black tea bags. Insure tea bags have cooled, then place over closed eyes.

Eyebright and Lady's Mantle liquid extract- Internal Purposes: Make a tea from these two herbs by dropping 20 to 30 drops into water or you can use the extract by putting it under your tongue, hold for a couple of minutes then swallow. This has been beneficial in treating hay fever symptoms. Repeat 2 times daily. It is best to drink a glass of water after taking the extract.

Noni- Internal Purposes: Noni Juice is beneficial in fighting hay fever symptoms.

 

Bad breath may be caused by tooth decay, gum disease, digestive problems, smoking or some systemic diseases.

Alfalfa- Internal   Purposes: High in Chlorophyll and nutrients that act as a detoxifier and blood purifier and has been found to be beneficial for a variety of illnesses, including liver disorders and breath odor.  Dosage: 500 to 1000 mg tablets or 1 tsp. Of liquid in juice or water three times daily.

Goldenseal- Internal Purposes: Alcohol-free Goldenseal Extract has been found beneficial in treating infected gums. Tooth decay and infected gums is one of the highest causes of bad breath. To treat gum infection or mouth sores, soak a cotton ball with Alcohol-free Goldenseal Extract and set the treated cotton ball over the infected area. Repeat this procedure for 2 hours a day for 3 days. The infection should heal quickly.

Myrrh, Peppermint, Rosemary, and Sage- Internal   Purposes: Myrrh is an ingredient in European toothpastes due to its ability to fight bacteria that cause tooth decay. Peppermint makes a fine mouthwash and is a great remedy for bad breath. Rosemary and Sage have antiseptic properties that make them a good gargle and mouthwash.  Cautions: Sage is not to be used if you have epilepsy or other seizure disorders.

Parsley- Internal Purposes: Parsley Leaf is an excellent breath freshener due to its high chlorophyll content. Parsley is used in mints and you can just chew on a strip of parsley which will help to alleviate bad breath.

The pituitary is a small gland in the brain which secretes substances necessary for basic life processes, such as growth.

Alfalfa-  Internal Purposes: Alfalfa is very high in vitamins and minerals and nourishes the entire system. Promotes pituitary gland function balancing the pituitary gland. Also high in Chlorophyll and nutrients that promote pituitary gland function. This herb comes in tablet or capsule and can be eaten fresh in foods rich in alfalfa, such as alfalfa sprouts,

Cod liver oil- Importance: High.  Comments: Provides needed vitamins such as A and D. Promotes healthy bones and tissues. Stimulates growth.

Kelp- Importance: High.  Comments: Provides iodine. Lack of iodine can contribute to this disorder.

Zinc- Importance: High.  Comments: Lack of zinc can contribute to impaired growth. Zinc gluconate lozenges and OptiZinc are recommended forms.

Calcium and Magnesium- Importance: Moderate.  Comments: Promotes healthy bone growth.

Baldness (formally alopecia) is the state of lacking hair where it usually would grow, especially on the head. The most common form of baldness is a progressive hair-thinning condition that occurs in adult humans and other primate species.

Apple Cider Vinegar and Sage Tea- External Purposes: Makes an excellent hair rinse that may be beneficial to promoting hair growth.

Ginkgo biloba- Internal   Purposes: Increases the circulation of blood and oxygen to all parts of the body including the scalp.

Horsetail- Internal Purposes: Rich in nutrients and high in silica which promotes strong, shiny hair growth.

Green Tea, Pygeum, and Saw Palmetto- Internal Purposes: It has been said that these three herbs may be beneficial in stopping hair loss.

Tea tree oil- External Purposes: It has been found that bacteria and mites can cause hair loss. Tea Tree Oil has antibacterial, antiseptic, and insecticide properties. Using this product as a massage will help to eliminate this problem. Place 10 drops of Tea Tree Oil on your scalp and massage the scalp, shampoo as usual.

Can occur throughout the body. Too much uric acid in the blood will cause the liver to overload and not be able to efficiently remove the excess uric acid. After a while, the uric acid will crystallize and park in the joint areas creating swelling, inflammation, stiffness, and pain.

Alfalfa- Internal Purposes: Minerals, as well as other nutrients, can cut down on the amount of serum uric acid; alfalfa is one of your better choices to obtain minerals.  Dosage: 2000-3000 mg daily in tablet or capsule form

Bilberry- Internal Purposes: Bilberry extract can provide anthocyanidines and proanthocyanidins. Both of these flavonoids have potent antioxidant tendencies.

Boswell & Turmeric- Internal Purposes: Boswell and turmeric (curcumin) can both alleviate the redness and swelling of inflammation, which will also reduce the pain.

Cayenne (capsicum)- Internal/External Purposes: Mix cayenne with wintergreen oil to make a paste and apply it to the area that is swollen, red, and painful. At first, you may feel some stinging; however, this should disappear after awhile. In addition to being an external agent, cayenne can be obtained in the form of capsules or liquid form.

Celery- Internal Purposes: Multiple elements are available in celery seed extract that will lessen inflammation.
