Listed are some helpful herbs and supplements for this condition.  However, you must take care of your overall health through a physician.

 

An often painful calcium deposit found on the bone. Most commonly it is found on the heel, but can be found on any bone including neck, spine, arms and legs.

Arnica and Chamomile– External Purposes: Make a poultice from these two herbs by placing them in a towel. Place the poultice on the bone spur.

Bromelain (from Pineapple) and Curcumin (from Turmeric)-  Internal Purposes: Contain anti-inflammatory properties and are said to alleviate pain.

Normally, the muscle at the bottom of the esophagus will control your food so that it stays in your stomach; however, GERD occurs when the contents "“back up"  and can even go back up into the back of the throat. This can occur due to your normal body functions not working properly, the contents of the stomach are too acidic, or the food is not cleared out of the esophagus quickly enough.

Aloe vera juice- Internal Purposes: Aloe vera juice seems to be able to assist healing of the intestinal tract.

Catnip, Fennel, Ginger, & Marshmallow Root, & Papaya Tea- Internal Purposes: These five herbs have been beneficial in ensuring good digestion and help to ensure that heartburn does not occur.

Chamomile Tea-Internal Purposes: Chamomile Tea is very soothing to the digestive system, as well as the esophagus.

Deglycyrrhizinated licorice (DGL)- Internal Purposes: DGL is the extract from the root of true licorice. Licorice is chosen for its multiple medicinal benefits including peptic ulcer healing, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, & antioxidant properties.

Depends on what part of the ear the loss is located in as to what type of hearing loss it is. There is conductive hearing loss, sensorineural hearing loss, and mixed hearing loss.

Echinacea- Internal Purposes: Can help to make poor equilibrium more balanced which will also lessen the dizziness that can be experienced. In addition, echinacea can be useful for fighting infection and ease congestion. The best forms of echinacea to take are either capsule or in tea form.

Ephedra, Eucalyptus, Hyssop, Mullein, & Thyme- Internal Purposes: A good strategy to relief congestion is to choose one of these herbs. A side effect of losing the congestion would be to also decrease ringing in the ears.

Ginkgo biloba- Internal Purposes: Can alleviate dizziness and help a person to hear better as a result of hampered blood flow. In addition, other herbs that may better circulation and blood flow to the ear can be butcher's broom, cayenne, chamomile, ginger root, turmeric, and yarrow.

Bayberry Bark, Burdock Root, Goldenseal, Hawthorn Leaf and Flower, and Myrrh- Internal Purposes: Responsible for cleansing the blood and clearing up infection.  Cautions: Use goldenseal for only one week at a time. More than that could upset the normal flora in the intestines. Do not use goldenseal if you are pregnant. Be careful with goldenseal if you have been diagnosed as being allergic to ragweed.

The death of heart muscle due to the loss of blood supply. The loss of blood supply is usually caused by a complete blockage of a coronary artery, one of the arteries that supplies blood to the heart muscle.

Black Cohosh, Oat Straw, Passionflower, Valerian Root, Skullcap, and Wood Betony- Internal Purposes: These six herbs contain flavonoids that act as natural sedatives and stimulates the brain to produce endorphins, thus inducing a feeling of calm that is believed to help regulate arrhythmias.

Butcher's Broom, Hawthorn Berries and leaf, Motherwort, and Red Sage- Internal Purposes: These four herbs contain properties that are said to make the heart stronger.

Gotu Kola, Primrose, and Rosemary- Internal Purposes: These herbs stimulate circulation and act as mild sedatives that promotes a calming effect in the body that is beneficial in managing angina.

Turmeric (Curcumin)- Internal Purposes: Turmeric contains curcumin and is beneficial for its anti-inflammatory properties that is said to lower cholesterol.

Alfalfa, borage Seed, Horsetail, Nettle, and pau d'arco- Internal Purposes: These five herbs have beneficial qualities such as silica in horsetail that maintains the elastic connective tissue of the arteries. Alfalfa leaves reduce blood cholesterol levels borage Seed, Nettle, and Pau d'arco contains valuable minerals and essential fatty acids needed for proper cardiovascular function.

Discomfort felt in one or more portions of the head. There are many causes of headaches including tension headache, migraine headache, cluster headache, occipital neuralgia or trigeminal neuralgia (specific nerve related pain syndromes). Most headaches are treated with medical therapy.

Cayenne (capsicum)- Internal Purposes: Cayenne is thought to start the release of endorphins by the brain. Endorphins are chemicals that alleviate pain and has been found helpful in treating cluster headaches. It is also said to improve blood circulation and thins the blood.

Chamomile- Internal Purposes: This natural sedative soothes nerves, relieves tension and soothes muscles.

Ginger, Peppermint Oil, and Wintergreen- External Purposes: These three herbs make a wonderful, soothing rub that relieves tension headaches. When topically treating migraines, gently massage potion made from these herbs on the affected areas. Also useful in treating sinus headaches, just massage the potion across the sinus area.

Ginkgo biloba- Internal Purposes: Increases the circulation of blood and oxygen to the brain and is thought to be beneficial in treating headaches.
