Listed are some helpful herbs and supplements for this condition.  However, you must take care of your overall health through a physician.

 

Blood pressure is the measurement of the force of the blood on the arteries as the heart pushes the blood through the body. High blood pressure is when there is too much pressure, which can lead to heart and kidney problems.

Cayenne (capsicum, Chamomile, Fennel, Hawthorn Berries, Parsley, and Rosemary- Internal Purposes: These six herbs are all beneficial for treating high blood pressure.  Cautions: Do not use Chamomile for extended periods of time and if allergic to ragweed, do not use at all.

Hops and Valerian root-  Internal Purposes: These two herbs contain flavonoids that act as natural sedatives and stimulates the brain to produce endorphins, that calm the nerves.

Suma Tea- Internal Purposes: Drinking 3 cups of Suma Tea can be beneficial in treatments of blood pressure.

Ephedra (ma huang) and Licorice- N/A Purposes: DO NOT USE THESE HERBS as they may elevate blood pressure.

A member of the herpes family of viruses. Eight distinct types have been associated with a variety of human diseases.

Astragalus, Huang qi- Internal Purposes: These herbs have antibiotic properties and boost the immune system.

Black Walnut, Goldenseal Extract- External Purposes: These two herbs may be beneficial for treating Herpesvirus Infection by dabbing them on the affected area.

Goldenseal- Internal Purposes: Goldenseal has antibiotic properties and has been useful in treating this infection. Can be taken in pill or tea form.  Cautions: Do not use goldenseal for more than seven days, and don't take it if you are pregnant. Check with your doctor if you have been diagnosed with cardiovascular disease, diabetes, or glaucoma. If allergic to ragweed, use Goldenseal with caution.

Licorice- Internal Purposes: Studies have discovered that DGL (deglycyrrhizinated licorice) might hinder the spread and infection of the herpes simplex virus. It is thought that this licorice may improve healing and prevent recurrence. Cautions: Licorice is not to be used if you have high blood pressure. Not to be used on a daily basis for more than seven days at a time.

Olive Leaf- Internal Purposes: Studies have shown that the Olive Leaf Extract has the ability to interfere with critical amino acid production essential for viruses. May also have the ability to contain or spread viral infection.

Swollen blood vessels in and around the anus that cause itching, pain, and sometimes bleeding.

Aloe vera- External Purposes: Aloe Vera contains enzymes that relieve pain, and has mild anesthetic properties that alleviate itching and swelling. Apply the fresh pulp aloe vera gel on the anus.

Bayberry, Goldenseal Root, Myrrh, and white Oak- External Purposes: These four herbs made into a salve make a soothing hemorrhoid preparation that rivals conventional preparations. Some say it even works better than some of the conventional preparations.

Comfrey Root- External Purposes: This herb can be made into a paste and is beneficial in treating bleeding hemorrhoids. Cautions: Comfrey is to be used externally

Witch Hazel- External Purposes: Witch hazel has astringent qualities that can shrink the swollen vein of a hemorrhoid when patted on affected area with a sterile cotton ball. Repeat this procedure three times daily or as needed.

Buckthorn Bark, Collinsonia Root, Parsley, Red Grape Vine leaves, and Stone Root-External Purposes: These five herbs are believed to have astringent and antispasmodic properties and have been beneficial in treating hemorrhoids.

Disorder that is gastroenterological. Occurs when the liver becomes inflamed. There are eight different types of hepatitis. Being able to tell which type of hepatitis an individual has depends on the cause. Most of the types, however, are caused by a virus.

Artichoke- Internal Purposes: In earlier times, artichoke was almost used as a tea to treat multiple ailments. Now, standardized extract is actually considered to be better for supporting a liver that is not working up to par.

Beets- Internal Purposes: Normally, the root of this plant is used to assist the body in resisting body ailments. Ayurvedic medicine has traditionally chosen beets to foster the liver's capability to regenerate cells.

Burdock & Dandelion- Internal Purposes: Burdock and dandelion may be beneficial in ensuring that the liver and the bloodstream are flushed free of toxins.

Licorice- Internal Purposes: There have been studies that suggest that licorice can treat viral hepatitis, especially chronic active hepatitis because of its prominent write-ups on antiviral activity. Cautions: Stop using licorice after seven days. If your physician has advised you that you have high blood pressure, choose a different herb.

Olive Leaf- Internal Purposes: The olive leaf extract can be very powerful in treating fungi.

An inherited bleeding disorder caused by low levels, or absence of, a blood protein that is essential for clotting; hemophilia A is caused by a lack of the blood clotting protein factor VIII; hemophilia B is caused by a deficiency of factor IX.

* Alfalfa- Internal

Purposes: The alfalfa plant is rich in minerals and nutrients, and vitamins E, K, and C which are beneficial to healing. Vitamin K is needed for blood clotting and healing. You can use the alfalfa tablets or eat alfalfa sprouts.
