Listed are some helpful herbs and supplements for this condition.  However, you must take care of your overall health through a physician.

 

Intense headaches that come with vision problems, nausea, and other unpleasant symptoms are called migraines. More women suffer from migraines than men do.

Cordyceps- Internal - Purposes: Helps in relaxing and reduce stress and aids in sleep.

Feverfew- Internal- Purposes: Relieves pain. Cautions: Do not use if pregnant.

Ginkgo biloba- Internal- Purposes: Boosts cerebral Circulation.

Some soil, water, and foods carry mercury in them. Sewage sludge, pesticides, fungicides, cosmetics, batteries, inks, plastics, dental fillings, and others can also contribute to mercury toxicity. The presence of mercury inhibits nutrient absorption in the brain and also prohibits waste removal.

Glutathione plus L-methionine and L-cysteine
Importance: Very High
Comments: Essential for sulfur. Removes toxins from harmful metals. Eliminates toxins from the body.

Selenium- Importance: Very High
Comments: Balances mercury effects.

There are two types of meningitis - viral and bacterial. Viral meningitis usually passes within two weeks. Sore throat, headache, stiff neck, fever, vomiting, fatigue, and rash may be indicators of viral meningitis.   Bacterial meningitis requires a physician's care immediately as it develops quickly. Symptoms include: headache, stiff neck, high fever, irritability, chills, vomiting, nausea, light sensitivity, and delirium. Infants, especially, should be taken to a doctor immediately if any of the following symptoms are present: poor muscle tone, fever, difficulty feeding, irritability, vomiting, high-pitched crying, and bulging soft spot.

Catnip Tea Enemas- External - Purposes: To break fevers.

Echinacea- Internal - Purposes: Enhances the immune system.

Goldenseal- Internal - Purposes: Antibiotic (natural). Cautions: Do not use if pregnant, allergic to ragweed or internally for more than a week.

Olive Leaf- Internal - Purposes: Kills viral infection.

St. John's Wort- Internal - Purposes: Good for infection (viral)

Every woman must experience the change that occurs when ovulation and menstruation stop. At this point a woman is going through menopause and child-bearing is done. Estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone levels decrease. The decrease in these hormones effects the reproductive organs, as well as other parts of the body. Common discomforts include hot flashes, dry skin, anxiety, bloating, headaches, insomnia, mood swings, night sweats, weight gain, and decrease in libido.

Slippery Elm and Aloe Vera- External Purposes: Relieves vaginal dryness.  Dosage: Mix together into a paste form and insert into the vagina at night.

Damiana- Internal Purposes: Boosts sexual desire and pleasure.

Amaranth, chickweed, dandelion greens, nettle, seaweed, and watercress- Internal Purposes: Protects against osteoporosis.

Anise, Black Cohosh, fennel, licorice, raspberry, sage, sarsaparilla, squawvine, unicorn root, and wild yam root- Internal Purposes: Promotes natural estrogen. Cautions: Licorice is not to be used on a daily basis for more than 7 days. Sage is not to be used if you have a seizure disorder.

Chamomile and valerian root- Internal Purposes: Relaxes the body to provide restful sleep.  Cautions: Never use chamomile if you have allergic reactions to ragweed and never use for an long term basis.

St. John's Wort- Internal Purposes: Relieves depression and anxiety.

Meniere's Disease affects the inner ear and is evidenced by tinnitus (buzzing or ringing of the ears), dizziness or vertigo, imbalance, hearing loss, or pressure. It may be linked to swollen chambers in the inner ear.

Butcher's Broom- Internal Purposes: Fights retaining fluid and increases circulation.

Ginger- Internal Purposes: Aids with nausea

Ginkgo biloba- Internal Purposes: Improves circulation to the brain.  Dosage: Take in capsule or tablet form.

St. John's Wort- Internal Purposes: Eases depression and stress
