WHAT IS SALVATION?
sal•va•tion (sal vâ/shen), n. [ME. salvacioun; OFr. sauvation; L. salvatio < salvatus, pp. of salvare, to save], 1. a saving or being saved; preservation from destruction; rescue. 2. a person or thing which is a means, cause, or source of preservation or rescue. 3. in theology, spiritual rescue from sin and death; saving of the soul through the atonement of Jesus; redemption.
In Christian doctrine, salvation is a rescue or deliverance of humanity from a specific condition and from a specific destination. Salvation presumes that there is a danger, jeopardy, peril or life threatening hazard from which rescue must be accomplished on an imminent basis.

Salvation is further explained as a gracious gift from God. The definition of "grace" is "unmerited divine assistance given humans for their regeneration or sanctification". In other words, it is a gift given to someone that has done nothing to deserve it. We as humans, are sinful and deserve nothing short of death. According to Romans 3:23 (KJV)

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God"

The penalty for sin is death according to Romans 6:23 (KJV)

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord"

Here is how you can receive Jesus Christ and the free gift of Salvation:
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" ROMANS 10:9-10

There is no restriction to who can receive salvation. No matter what your sex, race, age, income level, you can receive salvation. According to ROMANS 10:13

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved"
There is no other way to heaven. You cannot perform good "works", rely on someone else's beliefs, nor buy your way into heaven. The only way to heaven, is through Jesus, according to John 4:6 (KJV) "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" We have to come to the Father through Jesus Christ.

If you believe the scripture Romans 10:9-10, then you will be been saved.

Repeat This Prayer: Heavenly Father, I am a sinner; I confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that thou were raised from the dead.  Forgive me for my sins, come into my life and be my lord and savior.  Help me to live a life pleasing in your sight. In Jesus Name, Amen.
